Favorite Election 2004 Websites

Some of my favorite (nonpartisan) Election 2004 websites:

I would be interested if anyone else can recommend any similar nonpartisan websites?

Here are some recent FactCheck.org headlines. As you can see, they can hardly be called left-leaning. After perusing these, I recommend you look at their past articles too:

Kerry Falsely Claims Bush Plans To Cut Social Security Benefits
10.18.2004
It's not Bush's plan, and it wouldn't cut benefits.
Just How Many Bills Has Kerry Passed?
10.15.2004
Bush said Kerry passed five bills. Kerry said he's passed 56. Who's right? That depends on the definition of "passed" and "bills."
New And Recycled Distortions At Final Presidential Debate
10.14.2004
Bush claims most of his tax cuts went to low- and middle-income persons. Kerry says Pell Grants were cut. Don't believe either.
Kerry's Tax Ad: Literally Accurate, But Misleading
10.13.2004
His ad says "the middle class is paying a bigger share of America's tax burden." True. But it's a smaller burden all around. And the richest still pay the most.

Just because one hates Bush it does not mean that Kerry is good. Kerry is going to lose, because he is perceived by a lot of people as not capable of making any decision. Even Democrats admit it, but they realy hate Bush and as such will vote for Kerry. If any one votes according to one's true beliefs, one will either stay out of it or vote for Bush.

I have to disagree with "Just another New Yorker". I think there is validity in the "Anybody but Bush" vote. Bush does not represent the people of this country, he does what he thinks is right regardless of what the American people believe. These are not the actions of a democratically elected official. He puts is own agenda ahead of what is best for the country. It has cost us dearly these last 4 years as Jeff has pointed out, and with 4 more years I shudder to think what he could do. Kerry is an unknown as far as how he will actually serve as President, but so are most Presidents we elect. He has shown that he is willing to listen to colleagues and the constituency on important issues and use this advice to make an informed decision. This is not "flip flopping", it is sound decision making. I would rather take a chance on a new President than stay with a President who has proven that he intends to continue to weaken the United States' standing in the world.
